WORCESTER, Mass. - A popular Worcester diner is recognized for one of it's top breakfast dishes.
Miss Worcester Diner was named the best location in Massachusetts to order French toast.
The website Eat This, Not That! put together a list of places in each state to order the breakfast classic.
The Miss Worcester Diner is known for its stuffed French toast. With more than 25 French toast options, owner Kim Kniskern says the menu has grown through the years.
"The French toast menu started with just a couple items and slowly we started adding more as people were requesting them. We just started adding a couple more and then, as you can see, it just extended into this full blown out French toast menu that people just love, you know,” Kniskern said in an interview on Friday. “Just for somebody to acknowledge the fact that they love our French toast and all the love we put into it is just, it's really humbling.”
Kniskern says the best seller is the world famous crunchy French toast. And if you're ever overwhelmed by the options, just ask for help!
Miss Worcester Diner is open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday and 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mon-Sat.
