WORCESTER, Mass. -The family of a missing Worcester teenager continues their more than a month-long search for her.
Sue Paye's family says she's been missing since Jan. 9. They believe she most likely walked to the union station bus terminal.
On Sunday, Sue's family was joined by community members for a prayer vigil at Christ Worship Center on Greenwood Street in Worcester. Sue's family urged city leaders and the police to do what they can to find the missing 15-year-old.
Addressing the crowd at Christ Worship, Sue’s mother, Roseline Potipah, said, “But it’s the grace of God that carries me through. I believe in Him that one day, no matter how long it would take, one day, we’ll get a hold of Sue. I feel in my spirt that nothing wrong is going on with Sue, but only God can take care of her.”
“To all of you who have come today, I say ‘Thank you’ and ‘God bless you.,’” Sue’s father, Farley Kegbeh, said. “May God hear your prayers that my daughter, Sue Paye, and I will walk through that door to come here to the church.”
Last week, Worcester police said Sue’s phone was last pinged in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Feb. 7 and they've been in contact with the New York Police Department.
