SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Stephen Curry has a long list of milestones he's accomplished through 17 seasons in the NBA, and now he's making history in Springfield, MA at the Naismith Hall of Fame as the first active player with a dedicated experience.

“Two-time MVP, four-time NBA champion, 12-time All-Star," Vice President of Curatorial Matt Zeysing said, "We think he checks all the boxes to make the Hall of Fame one day. And, best of all, he's just a really good person. We feel really lucky because Stephen Curry opened his own personal vault for us to include in his vault at the Hall of Fame.”

From college memorabilia, to historic NBA moments, and even some items from his father and brother - the 'Stephen Curry: Beyond the Arc' experience shines a light on one of the NBA’s biggest stars ever. The temporary exhibit is located in the hall of fame’s gallery 'The Vault’.

“This project was actually a three-year evolution," Zeysing said. "We approached Stephen Curry almost three years ago, told him about the project. He was interested, but he didn't think the timing was right.”

Zeysing says the hall is excited to be sharing this historic display in their 75th year of operating.

In a quote from Curry, the all-time NBA 3-point leader said, “My hope is that fans walk through this experience and feel the joy, the purpose and the gratitude that basketball has given me, and maybe see a little bit of their own journey in it too.”

“You really wouldn't have seen his career trajectory going this way," Zeysing said. "And yet here we are. So I think that gives opportunity for younger people to look up to someone who overcame a lot of obstacles.”
