Starting the 2025 season in the majors, Kristian Campbell got off to a hot start. But soon struggles out-weighed the positives and Campbell was sent back to the WooSox.

Fast forward to 2026 and Campbell is focused his development as an outfielder and his development at the plate., "Being able to focus on left, right, and center has been easy so far and I made that transition well."

In his third season of professional baseball Campbell said he's getting stronger and learning to maintain it, "This year I'm doing a lot better with my weight than last year. I mean I'm probably eight, nine, 10 pounds up from last year while I was at this time. And the more you play and the more you realize how to regulate your body weight as you play is big. This is my third season. So I'm still learning about myself and my body and everything. And I've gotten a lot better with it as time has gone on and I feel really good right now."

Campbell is a young veteran. He said he's happy to help the new players adapt to the AAA level, "Because I've been here for a second, and when new guys come up, it's good to talk to them about what they're going to experience while they're here. And a familiar face, too. Because I'm now seeing a lot of the guys that I got drafted with or used to play with or in college or like a long time ago. So it's cool to see them finally making their way up."

While Campbell has been swinging a hot bat, so have the rest of the WooSox. Campbell said the offensive explosion is contagious, "Everybody wants to get up there and get their swings off. But it's cool because we come in, we have a winning mentality. And I feel like every time we step on the field, we think we're going to win. And that's big. We're going to try to make this playoff push and stay strong to end this season out. But it's fun. It's fun to be around this group right now."
