On this edition of In Focus Maine: We speak with state Sen. Jill Duson (D-Cumberland). She is the first black woman to serve in the state Senate. On this Black History Month show, Duson talks about how her mother influenced her decision to get into politics. She also talks about the changing face of Maine politics, the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and we get to know her a bit better with lightning round questions.
