WEBSTER, Mass. — Ten-year-old Marleigh Guevara of Webster is being remembered as happy and loving by family after she was hit and killed by a car over the weekend. The crash happened Saturday afternoon in the area of School Street.

Webster police said a passerby attempted life-saving measures with an AED before first responders arrived. The fourth grader attended Park Avenue School, where counselors are now available to support students and staff members.

On Monday, a small memorial was growing near the scene of the crash. Police said they're still investigating what happened.
