A Massachusetts man arrested in Maine is awaiting extradition on a homicide charge, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

A patrol sergeant was alerted to a male believed to be unconscious in a vehicle on Bridgton Road in Baldwin shortly before 10:30 p.m. March 7, according to Lt. Joseph S. Dyar.

The sergeant arrived to perform a welfare check. Police soon realized the person was an alleged fugitive from Lawrence, Massachusetts, who had a warrant for his arrest on a homicide charge, according to Dyar.

Jean Michael Warner Delgado, 20, is being held at Cumberland County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Massachusetts, according to Dyar.
