A recount is set for Friday in a Maine House Republican primary in which the apparent election night victor won by just six votes.

Unofficial results show Michael Soboleski of Phillips with 419 votes and Nancy J. Bessey of Dallas Plantation with 413. House District 73 covers 22 towns in Franklin, Oxford and Somerset counties. The winner will face Democrat Vincent House of Sandy River Plantation in November.

The recount will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Room 103 of the Burton M. Cross State Office Building, according to the Secretary of State’s Office.
